A me questa attrice piace molto, è davvero intensa e drammatica.
No quello proprio non l’ho potuto soffrire! Bel film.
Malinconia a quintalate.

How to improve Dota

I'm a little over 30 years old. I have been playing Dota 2 since its inception in this world. I have never streamed to get at least some level of rating since the last six months. During these six months I played quite a few games, raised 800 mmr, from 200 to 1000. I played a lot of games, I watched matches, watched games, streamers tried to learn how to play better. Consider everything you can. But every time I crash against the game, or rather, my team is terribly disappointing to me. I've gotten better at farming and playing better, but I can't waste 4 hours every day and see people make the same mistakes all the time. And now I want to tell you why this is happening. What does Valwe do for the player? This is 1 large patch per year, 30 patches with micro-edits that only a genius can take into account, since not everyone can even read and then try what has changed in such a volume and then try to understand how it will be reflected in the game. Most of the players play for the sake of relaxation and pleasure, partly for the sake of content (which is simply not in Dota), and partly for the sake of rating (it should be borne in mind that 40-60% of players play a rating because there is a role-based search and it seems better with picks, but people do not play rating for the sake of learning and raising it significantly).
Valve also made an event. Hooray. They sometimes make treasures and visual content, while getting this news content often requires spending both time and money. And you have to spend so much money that you can buy 3-4 top games, and speaking about the compendium, you can say this is a scary casino in which you leave a lot of money, getting hundreds of empty levels, hundreds of effects for rent, and units of sets for always, which you will manage as 10-15 good games, and the statuette of aegis as 20-30 good games, you will get tired of waiting for it, and a very cheap product will come to you, which costs like one good game, and then I probably less. That is, content in Dota is more expensive than any similar game. At times cheaper than lol. What else is Valve doing? Nothing! There is no reward system in this game, it was broken 5 years ago. When you were given some random things for the game, then everyone traded them. But now it would be possible to do the same, but without the possibility of sale. This is found in every game of a similar type. In general, other online games are more generous than Dota. It seems to me that if a person plays for a long time and he has no ambitions to become a pro player, he will become and he will not monetize his passion for dota, most likely he will become not the kindest person in the game, since the game spits on you initially, who is not a guest for her she is glad. And the slave who owes her or the nonentity to whom she could not please. There is nothing in the game that would make the community kinder, thousands of patches for straightening the conceived balance, which are made not for most players at all, but for the sake of cyber sports, it seems to me that ordinary players do not like this, and no one likes it, including cybersportsmen, but for example, their opinion is not so important, since the game is made for people, and not for cybersportsmen. And the dissatisfaction of athletes with the balance, in general, it is not very possible to take into account they receive money for their work, and their job is to play this game. I don't think their opinion matters. But Valve listens more to this particular side, people who monetize their content, but the Valve community is not paying attention. Request if you want to make the game better: 1) Start with a good promotion and player reward system. Remember that the Dota community is not very large, and from this small community, a small part of people pay so much money that it was already possible to create DotA 3 and 4. But it gets mostly seasonal effects and empty levels. This is the best paid content. Others don't pay because they don't need empty levels and seasonal effects. And not everyone can pay 300-700 dollars for a set of 30-50 sets of sets for a hero. Considering that the best can be obtained only by paying $ 300 or more, and then there is a chance that you will not get it. We need new players, they need accessible content, remove empty levels and make everything effects permanent content, it's enough for us to rent the same thing every year. Make random rewards for several matches or for the profile level drop out. Create seasonal battle passes, like in the same lol, look at the game Realm Royal, the game is weak in itself, but take a look at the developers who make crazy battle passes. Take away the opportunity to profit from things, that's disgusting. Make it possible to get all things if I'm a new player remove the exclusive. Revise the compendium system, remove empty levels, all effects and all rewards should be permanent, and all exclusives should be available for random drops, and in the new year there should be a free powerful event in which everyone can get a bunch of points for completing tasks, and will be able to use any previously released object. Take away the opportunity to sell things, or reconsider this approach, today's black market is not the case. 2) Do you remember the opportunity to put snowmen or transform trees into Christmas trees. This opportunity is just a treasure. Create packs of different resources to transform the landscape and sell them in the Dota store. Create normal and give the opportunity to transform the landscape, as people want or as it is more convenient for them. Perhaps comas need brighter textures. Someone is darker, which was more convenient, who may want to stand out. Give the opportunity to customize the landscape and save it. Create a generator, which itself will change the textures of the terrain from the available player texture packs. Many people will like this feature. Don't put high prices on these things. 3) Start selling all possible items except the exclusive from the compendium in your store, and make this store more attractive already. With normal filters, make it fast. And an exclusive from the comendium, there should also be an opportunity to get it once a year for the new year, and if a person plays the right amount of points to acquire it. And there must be boosters of experience and different points. It seems that in 2013, quicksters were used in the compendium and that was cool. 4) More heroes, wider meta, coming players will not understand such a narrow meta of the game. Many people want to play more heroes, but half of the heroes just nobody takes almost, since in many games this is an auto defeat. 5) Create promotional content, cool videos like on an international, create a couple of cool tracks in honor of Dota. Today Dota looks like she died a few years ago, and those who talk about it and play it are people from a strange cult who patyuet to revive it. It looks strange. Dota needs a rework of the graphical interface, brighter and more beautiful in the menu and not only. She needs beautiful sets, you have direct x 11, most sets look a hundred times scarier and simpler than sets from lol to direct x 11. Answer how is that? Redo a bunch of common stuff. Remove these gradations, make only 5, and by colors: silver, blue, gold, platinum, diamond. 6) Conduct contests for the best art, the best movie, the best cards. But especially the best cards. After all, custom cards can also be sold. And the best ones should be in the mini game store. Only there should be support from the authors, and all the tools for creating these maps, it should be easy to understand, there should be a library of knowledge, which will be filled with developers. 7) Fix all bugs, make Dota more responsive and better update the engine. I think all these things together can bring the game to life. My anger in the beginning is what most Dota players do. This is awful and needs to be finished. And it is very bad when the legendary company Valve is so slow, so bad, so not prudent, and so conservative. To my terrible regret, Valve is similar to the previously also very cool Blizzard company. Only in the case of Blizzard, everything is clear that this is their creative impotence. And they are unlikely to ever return to normal solutions. And the Valve can become an idol again. It's a matter of working time to make right decisions. You should have more games besides Dota, but I could write about this another time! Everything was written by me through a google translator, I'm sorry, I don't know English well. But I really want what I love to become better! If you need the original text for a better translation, I am ready to send it, ask for it via feedback.

Spectre (Bond 24 Review)

Spectre (Bond 24 Review)
https://preview.redd.it/slk944hvd7m51.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=421ee1d0034226722291439b9c895db9e713042a
Spectre may lack originality and it is rough around the edges, but it is the most fun Bond has been since Tomorrow Never Dies and more entertaining than the last two films. I agree that the “Brofeld” plot and attempts to connect the Craig films are misguided, but the rest of the film is still good enough to overcome these problems.
Craig’s Bond is different in the Sam Mendes films. Craig’s first two films played up his physical prowess, which led to a more vulnerable Bond, but also one that lacked some personality. Skyfall and Spectre allow Craig to be more like his predecessors and he certainly delivers witty dialogue better than Dalton and Brosnan. However, Craig’s Bond now feels more like a modern version of Connery, albeit with more emotional baggage. I love the return of the old-school Bond, but it is rather hard at times for me to see the Bond of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace as the same Bond of Skyfall and Spectre. While Craig is bored at times, I do not think he gives a performance as low as Connery in his last two films.
Lea Seydoux is bland as Madeline Swann. Bond choosing to let go of the past and settle down is an interesting plot point, but the lack of chemistry between Craig and Seydoux as well as their age gap, which feels like a step-back to the Moore era, prevents the story arc from achieving its true impact. Christoph Walz is fine as Blofeld, but concealing his identity was a bad move, and making him Bond’s stepbrother was worse. Dave Bautista is a nice return to the invincible henchmen of Bond past, though I do wish he got to show a bit more humor to the character considering how great Bautista is as Drax. Monica Bellucci is criminally underused as Lucia Sciarra. I remember the hype of a middle-aged Bond girl and I kind of wish she played Swann instead. Andrew Scott gets the job done as “C,” though it was not really a twist that he was the villain. While Spectre does not make the best use of such a good cast, it does excel in giving a greater focus to the MI6 crew. Ralph Fiennes and Rory Kinnear appear more as M and Bill Tanner, but seeing more of the flirting between Bond and Moneypenny and Q once again in the field is great. The chemistry between Craig and Naomie Harris is easily the best, though it still does not compare, since Connery and Lois Maxwell. Q has a better relationship with Bond here, harkening back to Desmond Llewelyn’s Q being kinder to Dalton and Brosnan compared to the first three Bonds.
The plot is more traditional Bond and still manages to stay fresh despite the many recycled elements from previous films. For some reason, I do not find the attempts to connect all four Craig films too egregious, though M’s death being connected to Blofeld was a bit much. “Brofeld” was just dumb. The action scenes, while a bit too focused on style rather than substance, are entertaining and are nice distractions from the main plot. The opening sequence is extremely well-made, with references to Bond past such as Baron Samedi from Live and Let Die and the helicopter scene in For Your Eyes Only. The music is pretty good, even if too many cues from Skyfall were reused. I did enjoy the extended use of the music from Skyfall’s “The Moors” for the London climax. Speaking of which, while I do think a climax at the crater would have been a nice callback to the older films, the London finale is still pretty good. The cinematography by Hoyte Van Hoytema is great, but it is somewhat hurt by the terrible yellow/grey palette.
Overall, I am surprised that I do not dislike Spectre. It is a very flawed film, with a misguided attempt to connect Craig’s films and to give Bond and Blofeld a personal connection. Ignoring this, the rest of the film is standard Bond fare, albeit with some twists to the formula to make it feel a bit original. Despite the film’s flaws, I think it is a very competently made film, similar to the eighties films. You will not get anything innovative here, but you will get an experience that does not feel too derivative or trying too to be a Bond film (like Brosnan’s films). Skyfall is an objectively better film, but Spectre feels much better paced and entertaining. If we can forgive guilty pleasures like Moonraker and A View To A Kill for having their silly moments, then I think we can forgive Spectre too.

Reading Three-Point Shot Part 1 (V3 Spoilers)

So, I had a lot of fun reading “I’d Trade My Life for Yours” and sharing my thoughts on it. I was eager to repeat the experience with another fanfic, and was getting a feel for some recommendations using the Danganronpa Multiverse Wiki that I didn’t even know we have. I figured, ‘hey, the DR fanbase is pretty spoiler conscientious. If I want to know what the premise of a fanfic is, I’m sure this can give me an idea without spoiling anything.’ Then, under the ‘most visited articles’ tab, I saw a page for a character, clicked on it, and right there in the first paragraph; ‘Blank is the new mastermind of Three Point Shot.’
Thanks a bunch, Danganronpa Multiverse Wiki!
So yeah, learn from my mistakes; never look something up for any longer than you have to! Get what you need, then get the hell out!
Anyway, I figured since I already spoiled myself on the biggest twist of this story, I better read it now before I spoil anything else. So on this post, I’ll be covering both the first, and second cases of Three Point Shot, by RandomRex6. Why the first two? Well, this story starts with the investigation of the first case, so if I tried to just cover the first case, there wasn’t going to be enough to talk about. Anyway, here’s the original story if you want to read along, we’re covering chapter 1-18 in this thread. The chapters are a lot more bite-sized compared to I’d Trade My Life for Yours, which is a lot kinder to those of us with less free time on our hands.
Oh, and the same spoiler rules of my last series apply here too; spoilers for the actual canon V3 won’t be marked, since you shouldn’t be reading a rewrite fic without experiencing the original, but major spoilers for this story will be marked.
Ok, let’s start. So, the premise of this fanfic is, in its own words, a ‘justice is served au.’ Rather than Kaede or Shuichi taking the fall in the first trial, the group figure out who Rantaro’s real killer is in the very first trial, and have them executed. Now, as a fan of both of V3 Protagonist’s, I love this! I understood entirely why people wanted to play a whole game as Kaede, but it pained me that so many of them wanted Shuichi to die in her place. Chapter 1 worked so hard to endear people towards the dynamic of Kaede and Shuichi working together, and it felt like most people only wanted the one, or the other. Whether the romance is for you or not is irrelevant, they each have what the other lacks, which has been the recipe for great deuteragonists since time immemorial.
Thanks to Kokichi’s titular three-point shot, Shuichi discovered how the library trap works and tests it to reveal that it couldn’t have killed Rantaro. He goes from dreading the thought that he’d have to accuse Kaede, to being elated that she’s innocent, and the two work together to reveal the real killer.
Now, the first case is…pretty weak. You’ve gotta cut Rex some slack, since it seems like this was originally just supposed to be a single chapter what-if scenario that became an entire AU. They probably didn’t have a whole plan walking in and had to make do with what the first chapter left them.
The first trial barely scratches 5 minutes, and here’s everything that mattered in it (I don’t consider talking about this case as a spoiler when getting justice for the first chapter is literally the whole point of this story.) Shuichi explains how the trap works and that already demonstrated how it couldn’t have killed Rantaro. Kaede confesses to making the trap, and expects to be scorned by her peers, but everybody understands what she was really trying to do and forgive her immediately.
From there, the group wonder how the killer managed to avoid getting caught on the cameras, until Kokichi proposes that they were waiting on the other side of the hidden door in advance, suggesting the killer had to be the mastermind. The group concentrate on who doesn’t have an alibi at the time of the murder, and Kaede zeroes in on Tsumugi going to the bathroom. Shuichi finds it very suspicious since, if there is a second entrance to the hidden room, it’s probably somewhere where the whole group doesn’t have equal access to it, particularly him, the Ultimate Detective (which is just a smidge uncharacteristically big headed of him.)
I feel obligated to point out here, for anyone that hasn’t revisited chapter 1 of V3 for quite some time, that 3 other people have no alibis for this case, all of which claimed to just be in their own respective dorm rooms, and if we apply Shuichi’s logic, it would make way more sense to suspect one of them, over Tsumugi. So, to get around that sort of logical hiccup, the story settles for giving Tsumugi the worse poker face known to mankind. This extremely shaky accusation causes her to contract verbal diarrhoea, as she just keeps repeating ‘it was supposed to be Kaede.’ The group vote her, she’s declared guilty, Monokuma has no problem admitting she was working with him, but says she’s not the mastermind of this story, and executes her.
So, yeah, the story took the path of least resistance to get past this first trial as quickly as it could. Again, gotta cut Rex some slack here since I think they changed their mind about the scale of this project part way through. As far as I’m concerned, it’s not fair to let the first chapter speak for the rest of the story.
That being said…I’m not loving this story so far. I do see things I like, and this story does come highly recommended from the community, so I’m willing to stick with it, but it has its problems.
The first thing that jumped out at me as I read the next section was the pacing. Imo, it feels…off, I don’t really know how to best describe it, I’ve been wracking my brain trying to put it into words, but nothing I can come up with quite sounds right. This is the best I’ve got.
This story always seems to favour cutting to the next scene over transitioning into the next scene, if that makes any sense. The momentum is constantly being reset from wherever it’s at to 0 in an instant, at which point it then immediately starts building up again. You rarely get the chance to just calm down and digest what just happened. This isn’t helped by how the story rarely uses the characters internal dialogue to convey how their processing the situation, which is odd, since this story shifts perspectives a lot. Normally, this technique is done so we can understand where everyone’s coming from, and perhaps sympathise with people we otherwise wouldn’t. But without that internal dialogue, nothing changes. External dialogue is external dialogue, it doesn’t matter whose ears your hearing it through if they don’t have any unique thoughts about it to share.
The start of chapter 7 gives an example of some of these observations. Kaede has a nightmare where instead of being forgiven, everyone feels betrayed upon learning what Kaede did, Shuichi especially. She then goes through her horrific execution from the actual game before waking up. We barely get any insight into Kaede’s inner thoughts after what she just witnessed before the scene ends, and the next scene opens with the following morning, and the nightmare isn’t brought up again for the rest of this section. The nightmare itself is such a great idea to convey the guilt eating Kaede up, despite what the others have to say. But the story is so eager to move past it that it doesn’t leave much of an impact. And this is how the whole section plays out. It has one gear; GO! And it’s so abrupt and difficult to get invested in, because there’s just no time to breathe.
But enough about the pacing. Kaito and Shuichi’s night time training is already going on, which is a bit weird since that was something they did to take Shuichi’s mind off his grief, but he doesn’t have any particularly strong grief in this story yet (Kaede joins their training later.) The group give Shuichi time to rest whilst they explore the school, but by the time they find the secret passage in the girl’s bathroom, Monokuma’s already blocked the tunnel off. Also, as a sidenote, the flashback lights are gone in this story so far. Looks like they’ve abandoned the gopher project storyline when they abandoned Tsumugi.
The group make plans to hold a party in the casino, which I think is a great way to make use of an area that wasn’t really used in the canon story. It follows that up with this story’s take on the motive video. This time, each person receives their own videos, but the videos actually show their pre-V3 selves psyching them up to win the killing game, which confuses the group since they remember being kidnapped and forced to take part in the game. I like this take on the motive, it stirs up the pot without outright spoiling the end game twist. The kids are forbidden from destroying the videos, so settle for just agreeing not to watch them (Press X to doubt.)
We then get a ‘free time’ chapter, which isn’t quite the FTE formula we all know. This story doesn’t have one definitive protagonist, so instead the entire group breaks off into smaller huddles to spend time with each other in pairs or threes. This is one of the few times in this section where the story slows down and just lets the students showcase their personalities, and it shows that it’s fully capable of doing it well. Ryoma overcoming his reluctance to play tennis just because someone called him chicken is a bit trivialising, but we get some nice foreshadowing for Korekiyo’s sister, Himiko and Tenko get a nice dynamic, Angie manages to see eye to eye with Gonta and his love of insects, and Kokichi’s interaction with Monokuma in private betrays how on edge Kokichi really is. I just wish this didn’t have to be crammed into one chapter, and could’ve been intermingled with the rest of the section.
The party scene is pretty nice. It has some of that weird pacing again (we go from Kaede, at breakfast, going over what their plans for the party are this evening to the next scene…which is in the evening, Kaede getting dressed for the party. Just nothing else of note happened that day, I guess) but we get more fun interactions between some of the students, Korekiyo taking an interest in Angie’s religion, Kaito trying to help Ryoma get over his time in prison. I can imagine some beautiful CG’s of this party if it was an actual game. But the group don’t realise until it’s too late that Kokichi snuck away from the party to steal and watch everyone’s motive videos.
It doesn’t take too much longer after this for the deadly life to begin. I try to avoid talking about the case itself in these threads, but there were a lot of aspects to this case that just didn’t settle well with me. Again, I encourage you to read the story yourself and form your own opinions before reading my criticism below.
I do get what they’re going for; Tenko absolutely would kill Korekiyo upon discovering he’s a serial killer that targets young girls to send them to his dead sister. The storyline is definitely believable, but I don’t buy that Tenko would be fine with Himiko being executed at in their place, or how the story revealed Korekiyo’s secret. I like the aftermath of the trial, I like the dynamic they’ve set up between Kokichi and Maki but I can’t agree with how the case itself played out.
Overall, I’m nearly twenty chapters in now, and although I see plot elements I like (and I really want to see how that mastermind thing plays out,) I’m not loving the story so far, and am debating whether or not I should keep reading it. I leaning towards giving them one more case to try and win me over, but if it I’m still not invested in it after that, it may just be better for all of us if I move on to another fanfic instead.

New lines from Caroline/Justine when lockdown is in effect
New Chouno question (The answer is Dogs, or C)
On 6/28, new scene with Ryuji/Makoto for their showtime introduction though the date may differ depending on your playthrough. I got mine just as I was about to send the calling card, so who knows?
New Kawakami question (The answer is Gold, or B)

New scene with some Gossiping students taking shit about Kasumi and Maruki
New scene on 7/17!!! Festival, baby!!!!! + Ryuji/Yusuke showtime introduction
On the day of the fireworks festival, on the train loading screens, you can see people dressed up in Yukatas!
Not sure if it was in the game last time, but there's now dialogue of Medjed claiming to be modern day Robin Hoods
New scene with Ryuji asking you to check with people in your neighbourhood about Futaba
You can no longer slide down the sand in front of Futaba's Palace while in your normal attire
Anubis will now warn you if he'll perform Mudoon or Hamaon (Anublis tips towards Curse (Mudoon) / Bless (Hamaon) or Anus reset balance (if Anubis decides to stop the Insta kills))
New mementos rooms
New Treasure Demon dialogue if you already have that Treasure Demon in your party
I've also noticed that there are a lot more Treasure demons in Mementos, whether they spawn in or appear right after battle with another enemy
You can sometimes fall into the ground in Mementos
I'm not sure if this was in the original, but you cannot hang out with your confidants in certain areas if the weather is bad
The Big Bang challenge without the special on is 2000 yen on the burger's second phase and 2500 yen on burger's final form
Cognitive Wakaba's 1st phase has now been sped up. She will now dive down on her third turn
New animations for Futaba working in Necronomicon whilst she is talking to Sphinx Wakaba
New Cognitive Sphinx Wakaba + Futaba Dialogue
Just as jobs can now text you and ask if you can come in, Lala can now text you and ask if you can take a shift. She even has a unique Profile colour!
Also, more people will come in on Sundays to Crossroads. Instead of receiving 7200 yen, you'll get 12000 yen instead for your hard work
Kasumi's ending text (Unbreakable bond) is now different. Also, I think it was a different voice?? It said you gained a glimpse, not the ultimate secret though. Very interesting
Also, there's no new Persona for you to fuse for her and Kasumi herself doesn't get a new persona (I finished this before she even awakened so huh??? Wha???)
Futaba's integration into the PTs is now voiced
The Shinjuku Trolls/Lobster incident is now voiced
New scene of the Gang hanging out at the beach (it's animated, but it's one of the 3D ones with the models)
The Movie Theatre Mementos request is now right after Medjed's takedown, and you do not need to search for the name this time as Mishima just gives it to you. You can still find Yasuo Jochi (the target) at the movie theatre threating the old man
New scene on 8/30. Ryuji didn't do his Summer homework
The Takases (Kawakami's blackmail no-good doers) turn into the butterfly man and green girl fairy now (I think. I could've sworn they turned into a Succubus and an Incubus but who knows? I do remember fighting the enemies they turn into now though so again, who knows?)
Naguri (the guy that attacks indiscriminately and can be found out through gossip in the Flower shop) is also now a Kin Ki (again, not sure if it was in the og but I do not remember fighting a Kin Ki)
New Inui question (The answer is Prosperity, or C)
New Maruki class (The answer is Chronostasis, or B) (I'm also pretty sure the second hand stopping question was in the og, but now Maruki asks you the question.)
Not sure if this is actually in the fight, but whilst I was exploring the Thieves Den, I noticed Kamoshida (Monster oogly bloogly form) had a mini him on the Ann Cup.
The Yusuke Hawaii incident is now voiced
New scene with Kawakami
New scene with Maruki, Sojiro, Futaba and Morgana
New scene of the gang + Kasumi shopping for soveineurs (with an additional Haru in the background!!) (Also, unfortunately, instead of the original scene of Kasumi scaring you (she originally said "Konichi-WA") being translated to "Alo-HA", it just got translated to "Hello, SENPAI" which kinda saddens me but it's eh)
When you get back from Hawaii, if you say "Aloha!" to Futaba, instead of saying "He's been influenced..." she now says "He's been Hawaiianized..." Not sure why they changed it, I mean, it was fine to begin with but it's whatever ¯_(ツ)_/¯
New scene with Ryuji and Kasumi
The conversation with Futaba about Morgana's fissy fit is now voiced
New Inui question (The answer is Money loans for collateral, or A)
If you interact with the stuff in your room whilst the game forces you to sleep and Morgana is missing, you'll get text like "There's something that relates to the cat... I'm worried about Morgana..." (E.g if you interact with your work bench, it says "A cat left paw prints in the dust... I'm worried about Morgana..."
Haru's Metaverse outfit sprites have been remade
After Morgana's + Haru's little spiel, if you check on the stuff in your room again whilst the game tells you to go the fuck to sleep, it'll have different dialogue. It's mostly Akiren wondering who "Beauty Thief" was and being worried about Morgana
Again, even more dialogue about Morgana and Haru on the next day. "Why didn't I noticed that something was bothering Morgana...?" oh Akiren you sweet little child hit me right in the Kokoro
New Chouno question (The answer is Cats eating human tongues, or B)
The Morgana chase scene is now voiced
Finally, when Morgana returns, he'll comment on everything saying shit like "Oooh this place is as drab as ever lmao I'm glad to be back ahahah"
New Kawakami question (The answer is Centeral Europe, or B)
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT!!! If you check on your calendar, you can see Akiren's thoughts and what he did that day!!! I didn't know until now djdjdh (also, Hawaii has some cool stamps?? Stickers?? Probably not stickers but they're cool lmao (ALSO THE BIG BANG CHALLENGES ARE CALLED "TRIAL BY BURGER" KSJDHDHH)

New scene of Yusuke/Ann for their showtime
The Sad Oh no Okumura Robot dying wahh scene is now voiced
Maruki can now meet you at the station, surprisingly
New scene with Haru and Morgana for their Showtime
New Ushimaru question (The answer is Imperial Household Agency, or B)
God, I tried to not include that much Palace stuff in here - especially the bosses - but holy fucking shit Okumura is fucking hard as shit and it took me 3 tries to beat him oh my god beware of the Borger man and forehead girl I'm actually shaking as I'm writing this just know I hate Okumura and his stupid bossfight
New scene with Kasumi, Maruki and some random teacher
New Hiruta question (The answer is Stars, or B)
New scene with Kasumi and anime scene!! and WHOOPS we've accidentally entered the metaverse WHAT

New scene with Kawakami at lunch at 10/11 telling you to go see Maruki + Kasumi and Maruki afterwards
New scene with Maruki and Haru on 10/20
New Usami question (The answer is 15, or A)
Instead of Makoto getting Akechi's number from Sae, we give his number directly to Makoto since we actually exchange contact info this time
New Maruki class/question (The answer is Memory Bias, or B)
New scene after the school festival. Yusuke is missing and is found by Maruki
The post-festival party is now accompanied by Kasumi, though afterwards you can hang out with your friends
New anime scene too!!
Ryuji's phone call about being the shittiest of shitbags is now voiced
Goro's prince outfit reveal is now voiced
Also, I forgot if I mentioned this before, but Akechi's pfp is now a different colour. It was grey before, but now it's light brownish
Not sure if it just randomly happens in October, but on 10/30, I saw people dressed up in costumes! Nice little detail (I even saw a Jack Frost lmao)
You can also find people walking around Shibuya in costumes!
Haru will instead be outside the school tending to the plants instead on the roof on Sundays if you want to hang out with her
New scene with Makoto and Haru!! It's the girls' showtime!!! Time to kick ass
I only noticed until now, but if you hold down the R2 button, (the button that makes you dash if you're unfamiliar with the PS controller like I am) you'll instantly perform actions such as jumping across ledges and climbing up walls
Sae now has actual cognitive-human bodyguards when she approaches you whilst you wander around the Casino (they actually kinda look similar from the bodyguards at the beginning whilst you're being chased lmao)
In Sae's Dice room, instead of crawling through the vent to reach the backrooms, you can just select "crawl" on the vent and instantly teleport there without having to crawl through since the two rooms are in seperate "areas"
New scene with Kawakami! She informs the class that Maruki will leave on the 18th, so make sure to rank him up to Rank 9 so you can unlock the 3rd semester!
Not sure if I just didn't notice before, but there are now people in the Dark Maze
Didn't notice earlier since my sneaking skills are so good, but safe rooms now bring Palace Security down to 0%, or something like that idk I was on 10% so it could be something like 15% or 20%, who knows lmao (edit: According to u/Theroonco, apparently this is a new confidant ability from Ohya! Thanks, worst girl, my opinion of you has slightly improved)
The battle areana is now voiced
Just like Maruki, Akechi will warn you that you will not be able to see him after the deadline, so rank him up so you can get to the 3rd semester!!
New Inui question (The answer is A Share of Stolen Goods, or C)
New Chouno question (The answer is a Sword, or B)
Futaba's Mementos scan is now a lot quicker
Also, I guess now is a good time to mention, but areas in Mementos can have certain qualities to them, such as all the shadows turning into the big hulky ones and the floor being weak which makes Morgana slip through them to the floor below. There's also a chance that the Reaper will spawn right away, which Futaba/Morgana will warn you that there's a certain strong shadow you have to look out for. These areas however will go back to normal after you leave them
New Ushimaru question (The answer is Any Age, or A) (And this was technically in the og, but they've reworded it so I'm just gonna put it in anyway lmao)
New Kawakami question (The answer is Crows eyes are hard to see, or B)
Nee Ushimaru question (The answer is because of high altitude, or C)
New Usami question (The answer is Cochleoid, or B)
New scene with Kasumi on 11/17
New scene with Maruki on 11/18, which is the day that he leaves
On 11/20, (the actual 11/20, not the one at the beginning of the game) you can see the SIU Director's face in the phone call thingymajig
True Justice now has actual text, not just question marks (it says "Cooperate as comrades who fight for justice and seek the truth")
Futaba's computer has now been translated in the subtitles, though I didn't get to read that much
New scene with Morgana. After the whole Interrogation Room incident, he asks you if it was Kasumi that helped you
New scene with Kasumi on 11/25
New angle/actions when hanging out at the downstairs Leblanc hideout
The Rats scene in Shido's palace is now voiced (And the rats voices are weird lmao rats rats we're the rats)
You can now eat cheese as a Rat in Shido's palace to regain Sp
After securing the route, Akiren thinks about keeping Akechi's promise to duel with him again (if you make it up to rank 8, that is)
The Eternal Lockpick is now called the Perma-Pick
On days that it is snowing, Snowflakes will fall across the IM screen instead of Sakura Petals (though they disappeared for some reason. Maybe because spring ended?)
New Vegetables for Haru!! Earth Beans that have the same effect as Charge and Star Onions that have the same effect as Concentrate
New scenes with Kasumi right before Exams and during Exams
Mementos Depths now have collectables that you can steal from
If you have reached the skill Live Painting (obtained on Rank 6), you can ask Yusuke to create skill cards in safe rooms
Your teammates speeches in the Velvet Room are now completely voiced
New ending Cutscene
And the entire 3rd semester :))

Complicating the lootbox discussions with irrelevant points needs to stop. Keep that discussion simple

After the EA made that "suprise mechanics" comment the discussion around lootboxes started again and people who are supposed to be consumer advocates are still bringing up the usual irrelevant points surrounding the issue. I am not saying it is always out of malice but we should be careful. Some simple basic points should be made and should never be walked back on, gambling is :
EDIT: Following text has nothing to do with legalities. I am not here for the legality of the issue. The way the laws are made and the way the world works should be proof enough that laws are not perfect. I couldn't care less about how some bald fucks in their 70s defined gambling a hundred years ago. We wouldn't be having any lootbox discussion in the first place if the law and lawmakers were doing their job correctly. Proceed with a grain of salt.
  1. The REWARD: There is a chance at winning anything worth something.
  2. The PRICE: Sacrificing another something with direct or indirect monetary value (you can spend money, crystals, you can give your lunch)
Before going in further: THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND PHYSICAL ONES.

THE REWARD:

If something is worth something then it qualifies as a reward. This can be a digital item, can be a tour around the world with a yacht, can be a meeting with Justin Bieber, can be the right to exchange your 3rd day ticket to Endgame's after-credit version with a 1st day ticket. That last one is important because this is really relevant to the usual stupid "BUT KINDER SURPRISE" argument.
The value here is not the movie ticket it is the privilege of being able to see it Day 1 despite buying a ticket for 2 days later. If the day1 ticket is more valuable then day2 ticket then a lootbox containing tickets with different dates will be gambling. So how do we know the items inside these lootboxes in the games are of different value. GAMES ADMIT IT THEMSELVES. An EPIC skin and a LEGENDARY skin is not the same value. A battle-scarred gun skin is different then a Factory New gun skin. Ok when you open a lootbox in CSGO you will always get a weapon skin. Therefore you are not gambling for a weapon skin you are gambling for a GOOD(valuable) weapon skin. If the cheapest skin in that lootbox is worth $0.1 and another one is worth $400 then you are gambling for the $399.99 difference between them. If that Overwatch box has a retarded 50 Credit worth kill quipp and a 3000 credit worth Genji skin then you are gambling for the difference between these items. There are also points to be made about the perceived value of these items but we don't even have to go there yet. For some reason game devs got cocky and they themselves made the quality tiers stick out.
This point also ties in well with the "YOU ALWAYS GET SOMETHING" argument too. No need to go into detail about how fucking stupid that one also is.

THE PRICE:

No one is stupid enough to bring up the crystals, platinium, Cod coins, BP etc. Fortunately that argument has been resolved long ago. This part is helpful to dismantle the stupid "BUT BORDERLANDS/DIABLO HAS RNG LOOT" argument. You cannot spend money to try your luck again in loot based games. If Overwatch did NOT allow lootboxes to be bought with real money then it would not be gambling it would just be a surprise mechanic.

Stupid Arguments

The reward part is where the Kinder argument falls apart. The toys inside the Kinder chocolates are all worth the same. I see some people claiming that Kinder eggs are not gambling because you always get the chocolate and that money is chocolate money etc etc. You are ALL WRONG and you are not helping. Blizzard is doing something like that in China to outsmart the gambling regulations by selling the lootboxes bundled with 50 Credits. If they claim that the price is for the small amount of credits then lootboxes are no longer gambling like that? How fucking stupid is that?
Depending on how you look at it, this argument can be made to support the idea that it is INDEED GAMBLING as well as IT ISN'T GAMBLING. That's how bad of an argument it is. What the fuck you can do with the outcome is irrelevant to the process of gambling. Do not bring this topic up and dismantle it as swiftly as you can whenever you see it.
Financials of a business or the nature of the rewards are irrelevant to the gambling process. It is not gambling because "drinks are free in this casino"... Stupid.
Also gambling. No need to argue. If you want the game to have variety then make it balanced instead of forcing people to use shitty cards because they spent their life savings on stupid magic packs and these shitty ones are all the cards they have. That's not gameplay variety. Same point stands for Heartstone etc. too. IRRELEVANT.
Another irrelevant point. The process of gambling is still there.

I WANT TO GAMBLE

This is the only relevant argument. Here is the answer. Gambling is strictly regulated and for good reason. It is not outright illegal (not universally at least) and you can go gamble legally right now. I am not calling for loot-box ban, neither should anyone. However LOOTBOXES ARE GAMBLING AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH. They need to be regulated. When you open a Rocket League crate it says 15% for the rare items. How can I be sure that IT REALLY IS 15%. Shitty crane machines in arcades are being investigated routinely why not video game lootboxes? Plus, you have to pay your taxes. By operating online casinos but not paying gambling taxes these companies EA, Activision, Valve, Blizzard, Psyonix, Ubisoft etc. are all committing crime by tax evasion. That poor legally operating casino owner at Vegas is not an idiot he is paying his taxes.

Final words, this issue can only be solved after we start focusing on the relevant parts and stay true to the nature of the topic. It is important to weed out irrelevant and malicious talking points.

Glücksspielwerbung in deutschem Fernsehprogramm

Diagnose: Burn-out.
